My sister said the reason why she opened an account in Kepong Bahru branch is because:

i) It's hard to find car park in that area
ii) It takes 5-10 minutes drive from our house

So she won't be tempted to take cash from this passive account (i.e. her real intended saving account)

Effective 8/6/09, that Public Bank branch moved near to our housing area - which now need about 1-2minutes drive - now, her cash reserve in this passive account will become active, she said.
