Verdict: Good replacement for (tiring) Harry Potter, during its absence
I'd say this movie is for kid and it's really good for kid.
For adults, maybe you don't agree with the logic (such as why didn't the monster attacked the people in the city) but well, it's a book for kids, in the first place.
I'd say the plot is good. The flow is good and the story was straight forward.
And yah, Harry Potter series is getting tiring, at least for me.
