I upgraded the New iPad (ok, to me it's iPad 3) to iOS 6.

No issues.

Just now, after using for a while, here's my quick review:

1) Siri is fun to use (I tested it with Mandarin & Cantonese - the voice recognition is not bad)
2) Safari feels smoother
3) It has Clocks now! Can play with alarm & stopwatch too (meh to many, but I think it's a welcome feature)
4) Apple Maps looks like an unfinished products
5) Having said that, iOS 6 lost two important applications that I love - Google Maps & YouTube (Google is still developing iPad's version)
6) BATTERY DRAIN! Battery is the reason why I love Apple product, but after the upgrade, it seems like draining faster than usual - surfing on Chrome for 45 minutes, battery dropped 10%
7) Again, on Apple Maps - it shows inaccurate data? I search the map around my housing area - Taman Metropolitan Kepong has become Bukit Jalil Recreational Park B? Whadafuq?
8) OK, some credit that applications such as Photo, has better integration with social media such as Facebook (but yes, it is already done on Android :-) ) 

I'm not sure how would Steve Jobs feel about this, but in my opinion, this will be his third turning in the grave (1st being the name "NEW iPad", 2nd being the un-inspirational iPhone5)

So this juice isn't that bad la.

So seeing that the old one is gonna be finished soon, I bought the new one.

The new one, smells lighter - I could tell when I tested it in the shop.

When I asked why, the sales person told me "Oh, it's because many people don't like the heavy scented smell"

My thought on the spot: "Huh? I didn't feel that it's heavily-scented. And the pure lavender version is even more heavily scented"

What a way to cut cost, seriously -_-

Nevertheless, it is still a good product.

No next time, free only will consider

I guess they've got the idea from McDonald's shake shake fries

But unfortunately, the flavoring didn't give the 'unagi' smell - what I smell is still the normal potato chips.

And the amount of chips they give is really pathetically few.

With the price of RM4++ , all I can say is - get others, definitely not this and no next time.

In my previous post, I reviewed about the pillow mist.

This time, I'd like to talk about the essential oil - used for oil burner.

L'Occitane's cost RM70 while The Body Shop's cost RM55. (as of Feb 09, LOL)

In fact both product shouldn't be reviewed together.

Because L'Occitane's can really aid to sleep better (with AOC Lavender essential oil)

The Body Shop, on the other hand - probably the promoter listened to my request badly (or I mentioned it badly) introduced me the essential oil to - purify.

Testing had been done to me and my sister, we both didn't sleep quite well with The Body Shop's.

Yes, the word 'Gently Purity' said it all.

Searching in google returned the result that they have 'Deep Sleep' essential oil.

But since the effect wasn't that good for their pillow mist range (I have 'Deep Sleep' pillow mist)
So I shall rest my case.


Again, L'Occitane wins again, the extra RM15 premium is really worth it and if you are ok with lavender smell (I didn't quite like it, initially), go for it.

I was in 1Utama last Sunday, craving for Haagen Daz ice cream with my friend, only to find that it's closed and replcaed by this shop - Gelatissimo.

I ordered Liquor Chocolate + Belgian Chocolate.

The taste? It's superior than Wall's (of course), Baskin Robins, Gelato Fruity, Bud's and Haagen Daz.

The taste was very rich.

Price is the almost the same (but definitely cheaper? I can't recall) than Haagen Daz, but because the seller prepared the ice cream like sh*t (just look at the photo), I'd give it a:

I bought this Mosi-guard wasn't because I'm scared of the mosquito bites.

It's because of an interesting advertising it gave.


Yah, it's so called "leeches repellent" as well.

I Googled it and it seems to be true. Some users said the same thing too.

So here's my plan to test it:

1) Tonight I'll apply this repellent before I go to bed, with my bedroom doors wide-opened.
(the idea is, if it can't repel the mosquito, please don't talk about leeches)

2) I plan to wear shorts for the trip, while constantly spray with this repellent (idea scrapped due to the possibilities of having snake, bushes scratch etc)

This product has better be working, because it cost me RM28!!!!!

I find this product quite useful.

Whenever there's an acne on my face, I'll just put a patch before I sleep.

The next day, the affected area will be shrunk, and I woud be able to see the patch sucked out some whitish stuff.

Disgusting but effective.

Facts:
1) They are both Japanese brand, Made in Japan and therefore priced higher than ordinary hair shampoo
2) Left: Asience by Kao Right: Tsubaki by Shiseido
3) Asience = RM25.80 (available in stores such as Jusco), Tsubaki = my sister bought it via postage = RM38
4) Both 550ml (only!)
5) My sister prefers Asience, not because of the price but because it can have similar outcome with Tsubaki, which is better than ordinary hair shampoo but cheaper than Tsubaki (so, it's about price after all)
6) Anyway, that Asience was financed by me so I just wanna make a review of it.
7) I'm not gay

There's a reason why I love Japanese chocolate - they are not too sweet, and the chocolate taste nice.

Half year ago (yeah, I know it's long time ago) I bumped into these two brands.

I've been buying Morinaga (as of half year ago) chocolate cos they tasted nice, and thought it'll be interesting to try van Houten (non Japanese company) chocolate made by Japanese company - Glico

Result?

Glico-van Houten - taste slightly sweeter, slightly expensive - RM8 -

Morinaga - taste good, not-that-expensive - RM6 -

You can get them at Jusco - Japanese food section (as of half year ago)

P/S: I stopped buying those chocolate not because of health reason - but because of cost-cutting measure T-T

Verdict: Wrong combination of spices with junk food. Peri-peri is better with roasted chicken.

Am I saying that I'm a conservative fan of Nando's?

It's a frustrating experience, if you are not able to sleep in the middle of night.

About half year ago, I came across these two aroma therapy solution, by L'Occitane & The Body Shop, respectively.

My verdict on these two products:

L'Occitane: While not a fan of lavender, this product still smells good. What's more, the lavender smell can help a bit to keep the mosquito away :-)

This is the better and more effective product.

Price, however, is more expensive.

The Body Shop: Cheaper but o.k. effect. It has sweet smell so might please some (sweet dream, maybe?)
