Verdict: A movie that gives the alternative view of Hong Kong, in retro style.
While Johnnie To' photography skill is not a question in this movie, the movie showed the old & retro part of Hong Kong.
Story line wise, it was quite straight forward but it suffered a bit from the continuity.
The movie is slow-paced but I enjoyed the movie - partly because of the nice cinematography.
I thought the last scene, which showed how Simon Yam delivered the passport from Sheung Wan to Central District, was brilliant. It was in slow-mo but the action was well arranged that it was interesting to watch.
Rating: 7 + 1/10 (Thanks Ron, for reminding that the soundtrack was also part of the reason I love the movie)
