After almost one year of preparation, finally, we started our KK trip. I thought the trip was an unforgettable one, because it was physically and mentally challenging for me (I'll explain more in the "Hallucinating" section later)

But most importantly, it was the achievement that I managed to get to the peak, I'm amazed by the surrounding view and also myself - and at that time, I really thought like "if this is possible, what else isn't?"

3.05PM : Met up with the surprise guest - Weihan & Agatha @ Wisma Merdeka, beside Hyatt Hotel, Kota Kinabalu city centre

Because Agatha is pregnant, the couple weren't going to climb Mount KK, instead, they'll be touring around the KK city centre

Backpacksssssssssssssssssssssssss

3.40PM: On the way to transfer to Kinabalu Park HQ.

Sarah the group motivator + chief photographer + the most energetic mountain climber in the group

4.40PM: Foggy scenary

5.10PM: Sarah & Emily were buying bananas, as tomorrow trekking fuel.

Introducing Prada Banana (modelling by Sarah) and Chanel Banana (modelling by Emily)

And yes, the Chanel Banana 2.55 is indeed irresistible.

6.00PM: Arrived at Kinabalu Park HQ

Self-portrait with Francesco and the group

Random shot with Emily taking care of Francesco

The so-called "Colleague A" & "Colleague B"

Group photo (minus Pui Ying) at the Kinabalu Park HQ, while waiting for Randall to help us registering for the mountain climbing.

Group photo at full

6.15PM: Gary with his "T-back" on his head - if you don't get it, just try to imagine his headlight without the light, the string is exactly like one.

7.10PM: We were then transferred with vans to Mesilau Park. There were group member who needed to buy shoes, so we stopped at Kampung Adidas (or called as Adidas Kampung locally), where people can get the cheap rubber shoes for RM5 or RM6, for one time mountain climbing purpose.

The "shoe rack"

Kuan Yew was choosing his "ones". According to him, the shoes were good because they are water proof.

Samantha the Tomb Raider was testing out the shoes.

If you don't get it, just look at the comparison.

7.35PM: On the way to Mesilau Park, which is another 45 minutes of dark and winding journey.

8.10PM: After we checked in at Bishop's Head hostel, we had steamboat dinner, the best dinner you can ask, in cool weather and night.

People busy preparing for dinner

And lots of fresh veggie, too.

It was delicious because the soup is not too salty nor too plain - it was just nice

A group of smiling faces (minus Pui Ying, again)

We went back to our rooms, took an unforgettable *cold* shower (for most of us) and slept after that.

I guess i'm just being a virgo.

I found that this post isn't nice cos the photos weren't cropped.

Will hire my sister to do the cropping.

Hope it'll be nice in the next post ;)
