Verdict: TCP/IP Man is a martial art movie that is slightly different from the ordinary ones that satisfies you in terms of the action as well as storyline.
This movie is a true story, based on the commentary and consultancy of Ip Man's son - Ip Chun.
Ip Man (pronounced as eep-mun) is a movie that is combination of various things - nice cinematography, martial art doesn't go too violent (which is rare nowadays) and smooth storyline.
It also tells the difficulties that citizen of China suffered during the Japanese occupation.
Last but not least, I thought Donnie Yen successfully portrayed Ip Man, and was also the best candidate for that role.

meow: you can give this movie a try.
The last movie "Painted Skin" sux hard and I thought Donnie made a bad choice.
But this one, is really different :)
watched this yesterday...the fight scenes are really good.....the fast repetitive punches....there's gonna be a sequel to this...also wong kar wai supposedly making a movie about Yip man also....called The Grandmaster....starring Tony Leung as Yip Man.....wonder how would that goes.....hopefully he is not going to make it into films like 2046, in da mood for luv.
ront: The Wong Kar Wai's version is still in development hell i thought? To star Tony Leung as Yip Man, I wonder how good it can be.... use his electrical eye to shoot the people?
Am looking forward to the sequel as well, which will talk about his students :)
