Verdict: The browser that's getting the best from both Firefox and Safari (er, who cares about IE?) that is display friendly (of cos) with Google's product (Gmail, Blogspot, Google Doc, Web Picasa etc)

Highly recommended to Google product user, strongly recommended for user who loves to use IE and recommended to users who loves IE alternative.

Google released the beta version of its own web browser - Chrome.

The installation will start with downloading a Google Chrome download manager here

Then after you run the installer, you'll have to wait for the downloading of approx 7.5MB actual installer.

It's straight forward that I don't think I need to include a guide here.
There's a lot of innovation done on this product, few that are worth mentioning:

- Clean and intuitive interface (not to forget, large display area)
- Independent tab that can be closed individually if one of them crashes
- Fast JavaScript engine (by including an independent JavaScript engine)
- Browser testing was automated at the Google HQ, by using web page that Google has been collecting for the search engine purpose (Smart! It saves the human resource and it's faster because they are local copy)

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

When you launch Google Chrome, it feels like a lightweight tool (which was the exact feeling I had with Google Picasa)

What contribute to the larger viewable area for browser is the tabs that were placed on top address bar (instead the usual tab placement by FireFox, IE, Safari, Opera etc.. see the figure above)

I used the "find" function, I'm happy on the improvement over the Firefox's - it highlights the current found item in orange colour, while highlighting the rest of found items in yellow.

Another cool thing is, after you browse a website, say, Facebook, Chrome will create a small search engine for that website.

Therefore when you key in the URL next time, Chrome will ask you whether you wanna search the website. (by pressing the tab button)

I tried by placing my name and search...

Et voila! Facebook returned the result!
