I like some of Sophie's songs like Murder on the Dance Floor, Take Me Home.
This album is O.K.
In this album I particularly love the track Me and My Imagination. It sounds fun and cool.
The video is fun too. (and she's gorgeous :) )
You can read more about the album from the wikipedia.
Rating: 6.5/10
P/S: I found that Sophie loves green colour - she previously used the green colour eye shadow + wore green shirt in her first album interview. Now in this video, she had green wear again.
Music video: Me and My Imagination (yes it's huge - 8 MB to load)
So I said I need to find an alternative virus scan. And I found it, back in two months ago.
Kaspersky Antivirus 6.0 further scanned a few more threats that Mcafee VirusScan, AVG Anti-Spyware and Webroot SpySweeper couldn't even find.
Personal license would cost USD$39.95 per year. But personally found that it's worth it because, Kaspersky runs the update few hours once, to keep your computer away from the latest threat.
Pros: Ability to scan the virus/malware/trojan/spyware that famous brand like Mcafee or Norton can't. Low on memory consumption.
Cons: Slow scanning speed, but still faster than Webroot SpySweeper or AVG. Apart from that, slows down the computer while scanning.
Rating: 5/5
Literally, it means glutinous rice with chicken (you can read more here)
Tonight my mum cook this as our dinner.
Basically, to cook it you put the ingredients together (such as glutinous rice, Chinese sausage, Chinese mushroom and chicken), then steam it.
My mum cooked it for tomorrow's breakfast also. Oh, I wanna sleep now :P
Recently there are lots of nice movie sequel, such as Pirates of the Caribbean, X-Men, Superman, Batman.
This one is no exception :)
The first ten minutes had already caught my attention - the zombie (erm, actually they are the victims of the 'rage' virus) chase in the house - I was on the edge of my seat.
-- Spoiler Begins--
The agressive Infected (taken from www.horror-movie.ca)
Chasing (taken from www.variety.com)
Note that it was still talking about the pre-28 weeks later era.
Then, the movie moved on to the "28 weeks later" era, which was talking about the restoration of an area in London called Isle of Dogs
The virus somehow and in some way reinfected the human again, and it's spreading fast.
Through out the chasing (by "The Infected") and hiding (to the military code-red operation)
There are a lot of action and tense, not to forget about the beautiful scene of London (London Eye, Big Ben, St Paul's Cathedral and not to forget, the New Wembley Stadium)
Hiding (taken from www.smh.com.au)
That's what I liked about the movie.
I also find the watching-in-the-dark-with-Sniper-gun-at-the-underground scene is unique too.
Unfortunately, the virus eventually spread out to Europe(!)
And it's up to audience imagination on how. But it's kinda logic actually :)
-- Spoiler Ends --
Rating: 7 (+1 on nice camera shot) /10
Pros: Lots of action pack scene, tense, it's not those horror movies that use the sound effect to scare people, but rather the action + situation.
Cons: Gory and violent(the helicopter-power scene, though it's creative :P). Plus, the main character of the Rage Infected is too powerful, ok... First, he was able to get into the lab to be infected(super access card? No security guard?), then he was also able to track down where Andy and Tammy were heading, and eventually infected Andy.
Bottom Line: It's nice! I must say, you may want to watch "28 Days Later" before you go for this. IF you like 28 Days Later, am sure you're gonna like this one too ;)
In the movie, somehow it reminds me of US Army in Iraq - killing the innocent, guarding the green zone etc, is that a hidden agenda? Plus, in this movie, you can see that humanity was one of the reason why the Rage virus spread out again.(Ironic, eh?)
Oh yeah, there are quite a number of good British movie lately! Would be nice if you wanna take a break from the American's.
The hurting part in this movie, is not about The Infected killing the Un-infected, but rather, the massacre taken between human and human.
I also like one of the music in the movie, which was first available in 28 Days Later, but heavily used in this movie - In the House - In A Heart by John Murphy
It's time to introduce this little addictive Chinese typing tools, which I've been testing in the past two months.
The reason is because it's a lot improvement over the Microsoft's PinYin. With that old-without-update software, you need to press "space bar" key while you type.
I'm here to demonstrate the convenience. The 3 examples I've shown below - are typing out all without pressing a single space bar
"I've no comment on Jay Chou and Jolin Tsai"
"The Hobbits love to watch Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away"
If it comes to the word which Google PinYin can't recognise as you type, you can use the selection option to get the right selection... The sentence I typed was "Be exhausted for 1 billions years while loving you for ten thousands years"
You can also do your customised type setting. For example, when I type tmd, it'll show "his/her mother's". If I type zo, it'll become Cantonese's 咗, which means "already"
This customised dictionary is tied to your Google account. Which means it'll upload the dictionary and if you login in another machine, you can use the dictionary again.
If you have the Google PinYin turned on, you can switch between English and Chinese typing by just pressing "Shift" key once.
You can read the rest of functions on Google's site
Best of all, Google PinYin is FREE. Get one to try today ;)
P/S: I asked my sis (she's been using it for one month) what will happen if I uninstall Google PinYin from her comp, she said she'll wallop me.
