Since everybody was/is commenting about it, so I might as well join the crowd.

I thought the fact that there were a lot of reactions from people was because:

Jack Neo had been producing movies about good moral/social value,
yet he had extra-marital affair.

Another example: People might have reacted the same, if a priest was caught molesting someone.
